Women of St. Josephs

WOMEN OF ST. JOSEPH CHURCH If you are a woman of the parish, you are a member! The rights and privileges include programs and activities to get acquainted with other women of our parish. You will find opportunities for social interaction, spiritual growth, education and service to our parish. Our regular monthly meetings are scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month. We like to begin by attending morning Mass. This is followed by a social coffee time, a business meeting and some type of educational and /or entertainment program. During the year our members have fund raising activities such as a spaghetti dinner and an annual plant and rummage sale in the spring. We also support parish activities such as the bazaar and Lenten soup suppers. Any funds we earn are donated to charities. Past contributions have included Water for Life, a scholarship for a student from the parish, tuition assistance fund for Queen of Angels students, St. Vincent de Paul, Sequim Food Bank, Sequim Community Aid, and the Dungeness Valley Health and Wellness Clinic. One of our pleasures is participating in ecumenical events such as the annual Epiphany Tea January 6th and the World Day of Prayer in March.  New members are welcome, appreciated and needed. You contribute greatly to the group through your ideas and experience from other parishes.  We urge all women to become active members of our group. Please watch the weekly bulletin for information about the upcoming activities of the Women of St. Joseph.
